Privacy Policy — Viral Transitions

1. What we collect when you use the app

• Videos you choose: Video clips you upload or select for transition creation.
• Generated transitions and saved projects (optional): If you save or export content, it stays with you.
• Generated transition videos for delivery (temporary): After the AI finishes, our server briefly stores the generated transition video so your device can download it. It is deleted after delivery or, if undelivered, within 48 hours.
• Purchase records (optional): Apple provides an anonymized transaction receipt so the app can unlock paid features and tokens.
• Diagnostics (optional): If you opt in to Apple's "Share With App Developers," Apple may send de‑identified crash logs.

2. Video Data: What we process (and what we do not)

• We process only the video clips you choose for transition creation.
• We do not create or store biometric identifiers or perform any form of content analysis beyond what's necessary for generating transitions.
• Any video processing for transition creation is performed solely for the purpose of generating the requested transition.

3. How we use video content

• Sole purpose: to generate video transitions at your request.
• No identification or surveillance: we do not perform content recognition, tracking, or analysis beyond transition generation.
• No advertising, profiling, or selling of video data.
• Transient delivery: when generation completes, our server retrieves the result from the AI service and makes it available for your device to download. If background delivery fails, the app fetches it when you next open the app. We delete the file after a successful download or, if undelivered, within 48 hours.

4. Sharing and disclosure

• AI service provider: When you tap Generate, the app uploads your selected video clips to our AI service provider to run the chosen AI model and return the transition result. Input and output files are automatically deleted within about one hour, and any file links expire within about one hour. We do not allow the service to use your content for advertising or model training on our behalf.
• Our server (transient delivery only): After the AI service finishes, our server downloads only the generated transition output to deliver it to your device and may send a notification that it's ready. We do not store your input video clips on our servers. Files on our server are deleted immediately after successful delivery or automatically within 48 hours.
• No other sharing: We do not sell or rent your data. We do not share your videos with social networks or analytics providers.

5. Where your data lives

• Your device: Original videos, generated transitions, and saved projects are stored in the app's private storage.
• Your iCloud (optional): If you enable iCloud, app data syncs via your private CloudKit database tied to your Apple ID. We cannot access it.
• AI service provider (temporary processing only): Videos are transmitted over HTTPS to the AI service solely to generate transitions, then auto‑deleted.
• Our server (temporary delivery only): Only generated transition videos are stored, solely to deliver them to your device. They are deleted after delivery or within 48 hours. We never store your input video clips on our servers.

6. Retention

• On your device/iCloud: kept until you delete them (you control this).
• On AI service provider: inputs/outputs are automatically deleted within about one hour; file links expire within about one hour.
• On our server for delivery: only generated transition videos are stored; they are usually deleted immediately after your device downloads them; if undelivered, they are automatically deleted within 48 hours. We do not store your input video clips on any servers we control.

7. Your rights and choices

• Delete content: remove videos or projects in the app; deleting the app removes local data. You can also delete the app's iCloud data in iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage.
• Purchases: you can restore purchases on the same Apple ID; we store receipts locally to recognize what you bought.
• Diagnostics: turn off sharing in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

8. Security

Videos are processed on device or sent over TLS to our AI service when you request generation. Generated transitions are delivered from our server to your device over TLS. Local data benefits from Apple's device and iCloud encryption. We operate a delivery server that temporarily holds generated transitions; we limit access and retention and delete files after delivery or within 48 hours. We do not store your input video clips on our servers.

9. Children

The app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will post the new date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
