1. Scope

These Terms of Service govern the use of the iOS app "EinfachBewerben" by Pascal Lindenau. By using the app, you agree to these terms.

2. Description of Services

EinfachBewerben offers the following features:

  • AI-powered creation of cover letters based on your CV and a job posting
  • Management and editing of your CV
  • AI passport photo generation from your photos
  • Cloud sync of your data for cross-device access

3. Registration and Account

  • Registration is exclusively via Apple Sign-In.
  • One account per Apple ID is permitted.
  • You are responsible for the security of your Apple ID account.

4. Subscriptions and Purchases

  • Pro Subscriptions: Available as weekly, monthly, and annual plans, each with different feature scope.
  • Photo Credits: Individual packs of 3, 6, or 12 credits for AI passport photo generation.
  • Free Usage: Without a subscription, one free generation is available.
  • Billing: All purchases are billed through Apple (App Store).
  • Cancellation: Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time in your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. AI-Generated Content

  • AI-generated cover letters and photos may contain errors.
  • You are required to review all generated content before use.
  • No guarantee is made regarding the success of applications.
  • Generated content is intended for personal use only.

6. User Responsibilities

  • You provide truthful and accurate information in your CV.
  • You do not misuse the app or use it for unlawful purposes.
  • You comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • You do not upload inappropriate or unlawful content.

7. Privacy

Information about the processing of your personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy.

8. Availability

The app is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance and updates may cause temporary limitations.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • We are not liable for the accuracy of AI-generated cover letters or photos.
  • We assume no liability for the success or failure of applications.
  • Liability is limited to cases of intent and gross negligence, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Account Deletion and Termination

  • You can delete your account at any time in the app settings. This permanently removes all server and local data.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.
  • Existing subscriptions must be cancelled separately via your Apple ID settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. The date above will be adjusted accordingly. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply.
